Most single-room installations are completed in a single day. A second room or a more involved pipe run can take a little longer, and we'll always confirm the timeline in your written quote before we start.
Fitting the indoor unit involves one neat core hole through the wall for the pipework, roughly the size of a coin. We seal it properly and route the pipes tidily, so the finish is clean and unobtrusive.
Yes. Every Daikin system we fit is a heat pump, so it both cools in summer and heats in winter — usually more efficiently than plug-in electric heaters. One unit keeps the room comfortable all year.
There's a running cost, but it's lower than most people expect. Daikin's inverter technology only draws the power it needs, and used for heating in winter a heat pump is often cheaper to run than electric heating. We'll talk you through likely costs at the survey.
